2. What data we collect

Merchant data (Shopify store owners):

• Shop domain and Shopify access token (required to install the app)
• App settings: game configuration, email integration credentials (Klaviyo API key, Mailchimp API key, webhook URL)
• Subscription plan

End-customer data (your store visitors):

• Email address
• Marketing consent (yes/no)
• Prize won and discount code issued
• Page URL where the game was shown
• Device type (mobile or desktop)

3. How we use the data

• To display games on your storefront and collect leads
• To generate and track Shopify discount codes
• To forward leads to your configured email integration (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or webhook), if enabled
• To show analytics in your dashboard

We do not sell data to third parties.

4. Third-party services

Depending on your configuration, lead data may be sent to:

• Klaviyo — klaviyo.com/privacy
• Mailchimp — mailchimp.com/privacy
• Shopify — shopify.com/privacy

5. Data retention

Lead data is stored for as long as your GameLead account is active. You can delete individual leads from the dashboard at any time. When you uninstall the app, all your data (leads, game settings, and account information) is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.

6. GDPR

If you operate in the EU, you are responsible for informing your store visitors about data collection. GameLead stores marketing consent per lead to support your compliance. End-customers can request deletion of their data by contacting you directly as the data controller.

7. Security

All data is stored in an encrypted database. API keys are stored securely and never exposed publicly.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
